I'm not much of a writer so all I can do is contribute by commenting and hope that others will elaborate and/or make the context for the better.
I am not sure if the term "patient" is relavent (in regards to the "chunibyou patient"). Yes, the "byo" is considered as some kind of disease or medical problem, but in this case does it fit or work? Even on the http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E4%B8%AD%E4%BA%8C%E7%97%85 wiki where it talks about the origin of the term, it mentions "...it is not related to mental health issue..."
On the side note, it would also be nice to add character information about Dekomori's habbit of ending her sentences with the term "DEATH" (desu) [if you listen to the Radio show at http://onsen.ag/?title=chu2, there are mentions by Uesaka Sumire that in the script, it specifically shows the word "DEATH"], it makes me chuckle every time I hear her say "...DESU!" so energetically with emphasism to the word.
